Frequently Asked Questions

  • Shared Branch Logo Sign
    • Prominently display the Shared Branch logo by having a sign on your building or on the doors of your lobby, for example. The logo should be visible to a member entering the building. All signs must appear in one of three colors, blue (PMS 308 or equivalent), black, white.
  • Shared Branch Funds Availability Sign
    • Inside your lobby, you will need to display a Shared Branch Funds Availability Sign. The wording should say something similar to, “Funds deposited may not be immediately available. Check with your credit union for funds availability information.” While the sign should be prominently displayed, you are free to design the sign in a way that works with your lobby.
  • NCUA Shared Branch Sign
    • If your credit union is insured by NCUA, you are required to display an NCUA Shared Branch Sign. For more information about NCUA signage requirements, visit NCUA.gov.
  • Guest Member Fee Sign
    • If you offer additional services, you need to display a Guest Member Fee sign. This may be a separate sign or combined with other Shared Branch signage.
